First of all, don't worry! Most of my clients tell me they're a little nervous before their session, and many have never had professional photos taken before! At MissMiri Photography, my goal is to make the experience feel fun, relaxed, and natural.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

You don't need to know how to pose.

I'll guide you every step of the way with simple prompts and natural movements, so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands or where to look.

Wear something you feel comfortable and confident in.

Choose outfits that reflect your personality and make you feel your best. Neutral tones and coordinated colours photograph beautifully, but the most important thing is that you feel like yourself.

Trust the process.

The best photos often come from genuine moments rather than perfect poses. We'll chat, laugh, move around, and create images that feel authentic to you.

Arrive ready to enjoy the experience.

Think of it less as a photoshoot and more as spending time together while I capture your story.

It's completely normal to feel nervous.

Within the first few minutes, most clients forget the camera is even there!
